I am not really happy about how much that stupid octopus has been on Noggin recently.  Stupid beside the seaside month.

...Also, happy birthday, Sakaeguchi.

Tajima.

I just explained to someone how you are the Pillsbury Doughboy.

AND THEY SAY IT MADE SENSE.

You do squeak, you know.

On another note, it was nice going to three games with you...

Tonight we went to Old Bethpage.  Which...kind of made me sad.

The massive amounts of idiots, cold, and mud did not make it much better.

Only two weeks left though.

I really would like to go back now.

This is early.

But, um, I figured you'd like this time better.

So...well, happy birthday, Tajima.

...Abe, you should watch this.

With Mihashi around.

Abe, I would have generated your nickname, but I was unsure of what you would be doing at high noon at Weadickville.

...I just had to take an ice-cold shower.  It was very unpleasant.

Also, I was asked to pass this along.

Wow...on the Pillsbury website, there's an ENTIRE SECTION on Tajima.  That's almost scary.

Today we got to watch Yummi-land.  And I have to say, there are few words one can use to describe it.

Oh, and Tajima got WAY too excited over the phrase "major league hard on."  (I mean, Tajima, you were so into it you couldn't even decide on what to eat...)

But everyone keeps telling me too, so...I guess I will. )

August 27th, 2008

Today wasn't very exciting. (Until we watched baseball later, that is.) I finally did get my new glasses, so that was good (even if the prescription is pretty much exactly the same). We also went to Stop and Shop, where we found this book in English. But decided against getting it (and instead opted for the ever-important bag of Raisinets in preparation for the trip to BWI).

It's kind of strange to think that tomorrow we're going to be virtually all packed up and stuff.  There's still a lot to do, but I get the feeling tomorrow we're just going to play a lot of Bible Game...and getting a cake (if anyone has preferences about said cake--good and bad--just let us know before tomorrow).

August 25th, 2008

Today we went to Pearle to get new glasses (it was kind of out of nowhere, but I guess it made sense).  So we (meaning [info]soprano_no_eijiand me) decided that it would be a good idea to get eye exams.  Which wasn't very exciting, although it was sort of entertaining to see [info]soprano_no_eijifreak out before the glaucoma test (she hates it a lot, apparently).  We each got a new pair of frames.  Mine are kind of small and black, and hers are dramatically different than her current ones.  Now we just have to hope that they're soon.

Of course, by being at Pearle for an hour, we missed the end of the Mets game.  Or not the ENTIRE end--we got to hear the bottom of the tenth.  Not that we...wanted to.  But I guess at least we were lucky enough to miss the top of the inning...

When we went to Walgreens, we got this. It's BRILLIANT. Only not.

August 21st, 2008

Today when we went to Stop and Shop, I got a new book to read. Sparky seemed to enjoy it. Until the end.

Oh, and I'm very glad Dora's not missing her new red shoe.

August 13th, 2008

But we didn't know that because we didn't try it in the store for fear we would laugh too hard.

Because, really, how can you not laugh at this?  Especially someone in particular.

I couldn't pass this up.

So today we all went to Borders, and I discovered this book. And it was necessary to get it. Let's just hope Mizutani can translate it for us...even though it's obvious what's going on.

August 9th, 2008

Today we went to Otakon.  Which was extremely gigantic and overwhelming, but also pretty entertaining (unless you're afraid of...er...scary people).  And then tonight we went to see an Orioles game.  It was a lot of fun, although we learned that being tired means you cannot read.

...Wow.

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
So last night we were all up pretty late. And today was just odd. And somehow I was elected to post pictures.
